Our Boutique Quality Commitment

At businesscards-printing.ca, operated by Fred Michel Enterprises Inc., we act as your professional advocate in the complex world of high-end print production. Because every order is custom-manufactured to your unique specifications, our policy reflects the specialized nature of these goods.


1. The Nature of Custom Goods

All products offered through our brokerage are custom-made and have no resale value. Consequently, all sales are final.

  • We do not offer refunds or returns for “change of mind” or projects cancelled after production has commenced.

  • Payments for design consultation or file repair services are non-refundable once the work has been initiated.

2. Our Manufacturing Guarantee

While we do not offer traditional returns, we stand behind the technical execution of our production partners. We will facilitate a full, priority reprint at no cost to you if:

  • The product has a structural manufacturing defect (e.g., delaminating paper or edge-paint bleeding).

  • There is a significant deviation from your final approved proof (e.g., incorrect paper stock or wrong foil color).

  • The final cut size is outside of standard industry tolerances (misalignment).

3. Reporting a Discrepancy

To maintain our quality standards, any claims for manufacturing defects must be reported within 7 business days of receiving your shipment.

  • The Process: Please email us at [Insert Your Email] with your order number and clear, high-resolution photos of the issue.

  • Resolution: Once the defect is verified, we will initiate a rush-reprint. We may require the original shipment to be returned to the production facility for quality audit purposes.

4. Limitations of Liability (What is Not Covered)

As a boutique broker, we provide the tools for success, but the final responsibility for artwork rests with the client. Fred Michel Enterprises Inc. is not responsible for:

  • Client Errors: Typos, grammatical errors, or design flaws present in the artwork approved by the client.

  • Technical Oversights: Blurry images caused by low-resolution files (we strongly suggest using our Preflight Tool prior to submission).

  • Color Shifts: Minor variations in color inherent to the CMYK printing process. Exact color matching is only guaranteed if a Pantone (PMS) match was explicitly ordered and paid for.

  • Delivery Delays: While we coordinate with nationwide couriers, we are not responsible for delays caused by shipping companies, customs, or weather events.

5. Refund Exceptions

In the rare event that a reprint is not possible or the product is completely unavailable, a refund may be issued at the sole discretion of Fred Michel Enterprises Inc. Refunds will be processed via the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
