Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: May 2026

Welcome to businesscards-printing.ca. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Fred Michel Enterprises Inc.’s services. By accessing this website or engaging our brokerage services, you accept these terms in full.

1. Brokerage Services & Professional Advice

businesscards-printing.ca acts as a boutique print broker. We provide expert consultation and coordinate production with third-party manufacturing partners. While we provide professional advice on stocks and finishes, the final selection and approval of all specifications rest solely with the client.

2. Artwork & Proofing (The “Zero-Error” Clause)

  • Final Approval: Clients are responsible for the final proofreading of all artwork. Once a digital or physical proof is approved, Fred Michel Enterprises Inc. is not liable for errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation, layout, or design.

  • Bleed & Safety: It is the client’s responsibility to ensure files meet the technical requirements (bleed, safe zones, and resolution) outlined in our [Resources Page].

  • Color Accuracy: Because of the nature of CMYK printing and screen calibration, “on-screen” colors may vary from the final printed product. We do not guarantee a 100% color match unless a specific Pantone (PMS) Color Match is ordered and confirmed.

3. Custom Orders & Refund Policy

  • Non-Refundable: All orders are custom-manufactured. Once production has commenced, orders cannot be canceled, returned, or refunded.

  • Reprint Policy: If a manufacturing defect occurs that is clearly the fault of the production facility, we will facilitate a reprint at no cost. Claims for defects must be submitted within 7 business days of delivery.

4. Production & Shipping Timelines

  • Estimates: Turnaround times are estimates and start only after final proof approval and payment.

  • Courier Liability: While we prioritize “Nationwide Reliability,” Fred Michel Enterprises Inc. is not responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers (e.g., Canada Post, FedEx, UPS), customs clearance, or “Acts of God.”

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Fred Michel Enterprises Inc. or its suppliers be liable for any consequential, indirect, or incidental damages (including loss of profits or business interruption) arising out of the use of our services or the inability to meet a specific deadline. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific order in question.

6. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the educational materials (Resources) on this website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title.

7. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.
